Cyndi Siegmund-Drenth, OD is also a board certified optometric physician, practicing eye care since 2000. She is certified in the diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular diseases , such as conjunctivitis, strabismus, amblyopia, blepharitis, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetes, dry eye, etc. Dr. Cyndi also graduated from The Ohio State University and received her doctorate from Illinois College of Optometry. She has been providing eye care for nearly thirty years. Dr, Cyndi was born with exotopia, an eye turn, and had to have muscle surgery when she was three years old followed by years of visual therapy, which has emphasized the importance of eyesight and eye health in the Siegmund household. It has always been her dream to work in a private practice with her brother.
Dr. Cyndi has been married for 24 years to Doug, an Emergency Room Physician. Doug’s father is an optometrist in San Jose, California for almost fifty years. They have a son, Hunter, who is in medical school at the University of Cincinnati for ophthalmology. And a daughter, Dakota, who is graduating from FAU this spring and will be attending Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. They hope she will join Siegmund Eye Care and continue to provide superior eye care for years to come. Dr Cyndi enjoys pickleball, exercising, shopping, and spending time with family.
