Our Myrtle Beach Eye Doctors

Siegmund Eye Care is a family-owned practice on River Oaks Drive in Myrtle Beach. Two doctors, opticians who have been doing this for decades, a lab in the building and over 700 designer frames on the floor: all of it in one office, all of it local.

Meet the doctors

Dr. Jason Siegmund, OD is a Board Certified Optometric Physician, trained in the treatment and management of ocular disease. If something is wrong with your eyes and not just your prescription, that is the training you want in the room.

The people you will actually see

Ciera helps you choose frames and keeps the office running smoothly, and she is the friendliest person you will ever meet. Tim has been an optician for more than thirty years and runs our in-house lab, where he edges lenses on site. Jon is a licensed optician whose knowledge of lenses and frames is hard to match. Lindsey is the newest member of the team, with years of experience in pretesting, scheduling and verifying insurance.

The optical boutique carries Silhouette, Oliver Peoples, Tiffany, Tom Ford, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Costa, Gucci, Christian Dior, Lilly Pulitzer, Coach, Maui Jim and Jimmy Choo, along with other top designer brands. An in-house lab, so you are not waiting a week

Because the lenses are edged in the building, most single-vision lenses are ready the same day, often within an hour, and many specialty lenses come back the next day.

The equipment behind your exam

The office recently invested in current computerized testing equipment and an OCT retinal camera, so an exam here looks at the health of the eye itself and not only at how well you read the chart. More on the technology we use.
