We are looking for an Optometric Technician

Siegmund Eye Care is hiring a full-time Optometric Technician for our Carolina Forest office, starting immediately. If you are positive, energetic and communicate well with people, we would like to hear from you.

What the job involves

• Working in a team-oriented clinical environment where caring staff are rewarded for, and take pride in, outstanding patient care.
• Assisting with direct patient care by performing diagnostic testing, building rapport with patients and promoting the services of Siegmund Eye Care.

Requirements

• Experience preferred but not necessary.
• Basic math skills: adding, subtracting, working with fractions and decimals, and computing rate, ratio and percent.
• Willingness to help in all areas, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team.
• A demonstrated ability to handle several tasks at once.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for exemplary customer service.
• Professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and respect for patient confidentiality.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy and strong keyboarding skills.
