Vision Insurance

As a convenience to you, Siegmund Eye Care will submit charges for eye care services to your vision insurance company. Please make sure that all forms, cards and necessary information is presented at the time of your visit. We will do everything possible to ensure maximum payment of benefits from your insurance company. However, the patient is responsible for amounts not paid by insurance. To help avoid unnecessary expenses, please be prepared to pay your bill or your insurance co-pay at the time services are rendered.

A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost. Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs.

We currently participate in the following insurance programs:

Vision Insurance:
Medical plans: BCBS, Cigna, and Care Credit

Vision Plans:
VSP, some eyemed plans, Avesis, PAI, Medicaid (first choice-select health plan, Healthy Connections, Physicians eyecare plan, Physicians Eyecare Network, Aetna, Spectera, Envlove and NVA.

We may accept other plans that are not currently listed so if you do not see it listed here you can always call and ask. If you do not know if you have vision insurance or are unsure if we are a provider for your plan, please call your insurance provider and they will answer any questions you should have.
